Thousand Oaks Real Estate & Information

Thousand Oaks, is located just north of the Santa Monica Mountains about 35 miles from downtown Los Angeles. The city, which began as a planned community in the 1950s, is now home to around 128,000 residents. The majority of those who live in Thousand Oaks commute to work in Los Angeles and other nearby metropolitan areas. Because it began as a planned community, Thousand Oaks has fewer traffic congestion problems than do many neighboring cities.

Park facilities include children's playgrounds, hiking and biking trails, picnic areas and ball fields.
